Some background info…

Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, I started my journalism career writing about music in late 2022 with music blog Grimy Goods. I became a staff writer in January 2023 while attending Pasadena City College. There, I was the managing editor of The Courier, PCC’s student-ran newspaper, from fall 2023 to spring 2024.

I then transferred to the University of Southern California and graduated in May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. During my time at USC, I worked as a post-production editor for USC Impact, a producer for Annenberg Radio News, the director for Live From the Halo (USC’s take on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series), and continued doing freelance writing on music and community issues.

My current goal is to continue writing about the arts and community issues while becoming more involved in documentary filmmaking, having completed my own documentary about adobe bricks that will air on Spectrum News in fall 2026.

World domination is the long-term plan.
